all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens,

AN INVITATION...
TO
PEACE & JOY
COME TO A PLACE OF PRAYER.

- Scriptures
- The stillness of his Spirit
- Words and prayers of others
a time to pause, pray, and receive power
Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you."
John 14:27
Jesus tells us, "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart... So don't be troubled or afraid."
Psalm 46:10
"Be still, and know that I am God!"
A PRAYER LINE
prayer, a place of peace
A
Prayer.
Joni Eareckson Tada tells the story of having to get up each morning.
Now this may not sound so hard, but she has lived with quadriplegia since age seventeen and is in a wheelchair, mostly unable to move. She has learned a short prayer.
"Oh, help me, Jesus." (from her book Beside Bethesda), is something she prays almost every morning when lying still in her bed. She is waiting for someone to help her begin her day.
She says that when we come to God with this humble attitude, in our weakness, the strength of our Savior can be seen. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
SCRIPTURE TO REST ON
